MUSIC POLICY
Dilse Entertainment have a strict Family Friendly Music Policy. We specialize in Hindi, Bollywood, Golden Oldie Remixes, Bhangra and Soft Punjabi with a touch of English (for example, Limited RnB , Kevin Little, Sean Paul, Abba, Michael Jackson, Jingo, Hot Hot Hot, etc )
We DO NOT however play Gangster type music such as Rap, House, or Garage as we believe such music is detrimental to family values due to the nature of their lyrics, many of which contain explicit and racially insulting words and expressions.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Our Award Winning Live Playback Singer will sing the latest Bollywood Film Hits as well as the timeless Golden Oldie Classics from yesteryear. The range of songs covered will include the greatest Live Playback Singers of all time , such as Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar and Mukesh as well as the more recent Vocal Artists like Sonu Nigam, Kunal Gangawala, Kumar Sanu and Shaan.
For Guidance purposes a typical Music programme would start with some relaxing Instrumentals as the Guests arrive and greet one another. When starters are served we would follow up with some Pre Recorded easy listening songs ( old and new ) that would play in the background. Dhol Music or an Entrance song will be played or sung live by our Singer when the Bride and Groom make their entrance.The Live singer would look to start his main performance just before the main course. Research has taught us that Live Singing is much more appriciated in small doses but can lose its novelty and risk becoming drawn out if overexposed. If a DJ has been requested then we would expect him to take the lead just before deserts end otherwise the Live Singer will continue with his performance. Finally the Grand Occassion would end with the Rukhsaathi Music would be customized to your choice and selection.
Prior to the Event a Music Programme Schedule would be completed by an assigned Team member ( as we currently have 3 Entertainment Groups in operation ) and you would be contacted to discuss the Timetable of events and agree a playlist well before the date of the Event so we are fully prepared.
Feedback and Research suggests that there are 4 main points of issue that guests pay more attention to at events such as Weddings and Dinner Dances. These are firstly how satisfactory the food is, secondly how good and organised the music is, thirdly how well each person is dressed ( escpecially the Bride and Groom at Weddings ) and finally how good the Venue looks with its decor. In view of this one should never underestimate the importance of a decent and professional music set up ( whether DJ and/or Live Singer ) to compliment any Grand Occassion.
SOUND ENGINEER / DJ
Dilse Entertainments Founder is Amir and he is also the Head Musician / DJ and Sound Engineer. Amir has created his own professionally produced custom remixes and teaches Live Sound Engineering and DJing at the Lottery funded Creative Skills Project in Greater London.. Amir has fast become one of Londons most respected DJ / Sound Engineers and is responsible for some of the top remixes that are so popular, such as the famous Sean Paul remix of Jhalak Dhiklaja, the Captain Bhangra Fatman Scoop Remix and the superb Gasolina Jazzy B. Dil Luteya Remix. Amir has compiled several top class remixes of both Bollywood and Bhagra tracks which he hopes to release once copyright permission is granted and will be undertaking work to produce a Debut Album realistically scheduled for release in late 2009.
All our other Professional Family Friendly Sound Engineers / DJs have been trained to the highest standards by Amir himself and will play the best in Bollywood, Bhangra, Golden Oldie Remixes and a touch of English using our discreet State of the Art PA Systems which deliver clean, transparent sound with a tight silky bass that will not harm your ears. . Our DJs will manage any special requests and make any suggestions for your Event. Rest assured that your music entertainment will be in safe hands and looked after by fully qualified Professionals.
