Sacred Canvas exists because of our strong desire to bring Islamic Art into the 21st century. Islamic art is essentially Arabic calligraphy that has been used by artists in different forms to produce beautiful works of art. Sacred Canvas feel that Islamic Art has somewhat been sidelined, so we are here to bring it back to the mainstream. Our artists have used a range of calligraphy styles and various modern movements including abstraction, impressionism and surrealism to produce wonderful pieces of art.
